View Full Version : How to Install Fedora 7 in hd 40GB

Hello All,
i try to install Fedora 7 in my 40GB hd, but the anaconda didnt recognize it (the hd didnt appear on partition manager in anaconda). any idea? :confused: thx

What kind of HD is it? IDE, SATA, ...?
Please double-check that all plugs are properly connected.

actualy i have 2 IDE hardisks: 40GB and 80GB, they're detected normaly as hda and hdb in FC5 and 6. When i Tried to install F7, anaconda just show the 80GB one and labeled as sdb. Next, i unpluged the 80GB's cable and try to install F7 in 40GB but anaconda didnt show it :o . Plz help me n Thx
