Can any one help I am lost as what to try next.
Have been trying to get VMware to run on Fedora Core 6.
get the following outputs.

Message from module for VMware
The directory of kernel headers (version @@VMWARE@@ UTS_RELEASE) does not match
your running kernel (version 2.6.20-1.2962.fc6). Even if the module were to
compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.

So I tried uname -r
Output from [mmnc@DCfed ~]$ uname -r
2.6.20-1.2962.fc6

Output from rpm -q kernel-devel
[mmnc@DCfed ~]$ rpm -q kernel-devel
kernel-devel-2.6.20-1.2952.fc6
kernel-devel-2.6.20-1.2962.fc6

Output from ls -d /usr/src/kernels/$(uname -r)*/include
[mmnc@DCfed ~]$ ls -d /usr/src/kernels/$(uname -r)*/include
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.20-1.2962.fc6-i686/include
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.20-1.2962.fc6-xen-i686/include
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.20-1.2962.fc6xen-i686/include
