Web-Backup does not include Emails

I've noticed that the Web-Backup inside the Tools section of ISPConfig always produces an empty Maildir directory in the zipped backup files, though there are Emails in Maildir. Is this by default and intended - or is this a misconfiguration on my server? For both me and my customers this is in any case an unexpected behavior, since the Maildir folder resides in the userspace, which is selected for backup.

The problem is that the backup is run as the user admispconfig, and the Maildir is owned by another user and can be read by this other user only. Therefore Maildir is not included in the backup.

But you can enable full backups (run as root) by changing the variable $go_info["server"]["do_automated_backups"] in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php.
