Hi Guys,
I built a web server using Centos5. I gave it a static ip of 192.168.1.10. I configured the apache to listen for port 8000 when hosting pages. When I do a test run, the apache test page load properly. My problem now begins with trying to put my page of the web. I have a Dlink DFL-200 router and I'm not sure how to map/forward the ports so my friends can view my page. Do, anyone have any recommendations.
Also If its useful should I configure the Server name to point to the static address I assigned the web server?
