unbuntu 7 Raid Setup

Hi,

I have a two sata drives that i would like to configure as a raid 1 or 0. But when i install the OS, it doesn't see the raid i setup in the bios as would Fedora 7.

How can i work around this?

Are you talking about hardware or software RAID? Do you use a RAID controller?

I Purchased a rose raid controller. I came with a floopy and cd. It can hold up to 4 sata drives. i only put 2 drives on it.

What raid can i setup and what would provide good performance.

I guess then that Ubuntu has no driver for your RAID controller, whereas Fedora does...
