pure-ftpd can't chmod

Hello,

I have followed te tutorial Virtual Hosting With PureFTPd And MySQL but no if i log in with my ftp client on my server i can't chmod, delete and upload maps or files.
Where and witch setting do i have to change to make it work?

Are you sure you followed the tutorial as close as possible? Maybe you made a typo somewhere?

Don't no for sure. but can log in with mij ftp client on de pure-ftpd server i can grep files from the server but i can't change, delete, upload, chmod, rename. don't what the problem is.

Please compare your setup with the one in the tutorial. I think it's some kind of permissions problem.
