Hi,

I'm totally new to Linux. I got Ubuntu installed and updated. I was trying to see if Beryl would work. I have a Radeon 9200SE. I tried the glxinfo | grep vendor and got this error...

sfc72@Linux1:~$ glxinfo | grep vendor
X Error of failed request: GLXBadContext
Major opcode of failed request: 142 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request: 17
Current serial number in output stream: 17
sfc72@Linux1:~$

Of course not knowing any better and barreled through the rest of the 1st page. Now when I boot up, all I get is a blank screen. I can restore my xorg.conf back to the original and get Feisty going again, but I can't figure out how to get my Radeon 9200SE to be 3d accelerated...
