mail problems: receive but cannot send

I am running suse 10.0 and everthing has been running fine until I noticed that that I could no longer redirect emails to my mobile, after checking my mail server I found that iI could receive emails but couldn`t send them.
I know that some dynamic IP`s can cause a problem so i rebooted my router box to obtain a different Ip, which after a few attempts my dynamic IP was changed from 88.105.6.209 to 88.105.127.86

However I can still not send email

You can try to relay your emails through another mailserver (e.g. the one of your ISP): http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver

shajzzi :eek:Please replace check_relay_domains with reject_unauth_destination in /etc/postfix/main.cf and restart Postfix.

I am having the same problem. I can receive mail, but I cannot send.

I am using Fedora Core 6.

Everything else is set up great. I just can't get the mail to work correctly. Where can I go to get the mail logs? (sorry, I'm pretty much a newb)

I can't send mail via email client on networked computer (Thunderbird on Windows XP) or through webmail on the server (using SquirrelMail)

Nevermind, I figured out the problem. For some reason my IP Address was on a black list. Once it was removed, everything is ok now.

After seaching the net i found that my ISP (tiscali) was the main cause of the
problem and they are still having many issues with their amil servers.
If iwas to change ISP`s would i just overight the previous script? here www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver
If anyone is interested I found a great ISP that offers a home package from £9.49 per month including a static IP . Also business broadband from £25 per month including up to 8 static IP`s.
If it`s ok with falko and till i will post the link here.

Yes, you have to modify /etc/postfix/main.cf if the mailserver changes.

Up to 8Mb download speed and up to 448kbps upload speed and this is the important bit no packet shaping. http://www.newnet.co.uk/
Also this can be done on a monthly basis so that you are no tied up for 12 months. So if you are not happy after a month then you can simply leave.

With all the recent security issues and empty promises from Tiscali i thought it was time for a change
