After my update from Sarge to Etch, my webmail client was not working anymore, and on one of my servers I started to do some testing to get it to work.
One of the things that I did was install courier, and after that I needed to enable maildir to make the client beeing able to login with a POP3 client.
As I found the problem of the webmail client not working (it was not a courier problem) I want to go back to the way it was before I installed courier (no maildir)
Now.. How do I go back in a safe way? Just dissabling Maildir does not work!
The client can connect with no problem with POP3, but it's not getting any mail from the server. Even when there is main in the /var/mail/webNR_USER. (it's an ISPconfig setup)
The exact command I gave installing all the courier stuff was:apt-get install courier-authdaemon courier-base courier-imap courier-imap-ssl courier-pop courier-pop-ssl courier-ssl gamin libgamin0 libglib2.0-0
Doing an apt-get remove courier-authdaemon courier-base courier-imap courier-imap-ssl courier-pop courier-pop-ssl courier-ssl gamin libgamin0 libglib2.0-0 will break the system (I've tested it on a VMware test server)
