I moved all my services to an new server. I dumped all (customer)databases from MySql and imported them in the new server using my MySql -root account. But none of the sites using these databases works.

Sites give things as:

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

What did I do wrong?

Hvae you created the users to access the websites in the mysql database? Does all databases show up correctly when you open them with phpmyadmin?
