upDate/upGRade question

Sorry for asking in this forum. My question was too specific for the ubuntu forum....

I'm using ISPConfig on Ubuntu Edgy Server 6.10 for 3 months now. Last week I updated my ISPConfig to the last new stable version....

BUT... I also want to update my linux distro (APT-GET UPDATE & APT-GET UPGRADE)...

I only want to know if that's okay!? In the update list I saw some PHP5 and MySQL component update, but I just want to know: Does it affect my ISPConfig... or can i upgrade without any trouble?!

Updating your linux distribution causes normally no problems. I update my debian servers regularily and never had any problems.

Only if you do some kind of dist upgrade from e.g. 6.10 to 7.04 might cause more trouble when news components are updated in a incompatible way.
