Install Problems

Hi, am having problems installing ANYTHING under suse 9.2.

Am specifically bothered about VLC player at the moment, and codecs for Kaffeine.

Have tried using a RPM file of vlc, and doing it "the hard way", but nothing works.

Any ideas? :(

Upgrade to a newer release? Suse 9.2 is rather old.

Is ok, Have now changed to ArkLinux.

Seems to be easier for the person to use etc
