ispconfig changed website permissions ?

Greetings,

i set up a domain on my server with no problem. Today i tried to access it and received Error 403 Forbidden. You are not authorised e.t.c.

I logged in to the server and saw that the web1 directory owner was changed from apache to something like web1_...

How did this happen ? Is there a process running changing the ownerships ? Another issue is that i try to add email aliases on an account but it does not save it.. Is it because this account is a "catch all" account ?

ISPConfig changes the website permissions to the administrator of the website. This does not cause any problems as long as you did not alter the file permissions manually.
