Problems running pure-ftpd standalone Submitted by Markus K (not registered) on Wed, 2009-02-04 12:29. I have installed pure-ftpd with aptitude on Debian Etch. aptitude did not ask me how to start pure-ftpd (inetd or standalone).  But in the file "/etc/default/pure-ftpd-common" you can manually set "STANDALONE_OR_INETD=standalone" Please do not use the comment function to ask for help!
