Boot from raid 10 ?  Is this possible with Grub or Lilo ?

I thought isn't possible.

 

> mdadm -C /dev/md2 -c 256 -n 4 -l 10 -p f4 /dev/sd[abcd]2 

This give a 25 % usability of the disk space. Am i wrong ?
