Thank you for this great little tutorial!  I'm setting up a fun little computer for my sister with a bit of eye candy and couldn't get any of the standard weather desklets working.  This tutorial was just what i needed! 

FWIW:  For US locations it looks like you can use a zip code for the weather "location code".
