After the reboot, if the ntfs drive is not mounted automatically open /etc/modules file & add 'fuse' in a new line. This will load the fuse module.

eg:  

# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded
# at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored.

fuse

Reboot the system to see the effect.
