error in upgrade install

If you are upgrading from 3-4 or 4-5 and you try to run

rpm -ivh fedora-release-xxxxxx.rpm

It will give errors on conflicts from your current version.

try using : -

rpm -U fedora-release-xxxxxx.rpm

instead, to upgrade the rpm not install it.
